The International School of Louisiana is a tuition free, public, language immersion school that serves more than 1,300 students at three campuses located in Jefferson Parish, Uptown New Orleans, and on the West Bank.

ISL recognizes the importance of arts integration through enrichment programs that help students develop skills that enable them to perform at a higher level in other core subjects. At ISL, 22 full time Enrichment Teachers and a part time assistant provide more than 5.25 hours of enrichment per week through Visual Arts, Music, Library, Physical Education, and Movement Arts. Our school relies upon the generous financial support of corporate and individual donors to help underwrite these programs.

Our recent accolades include
  • A-Rated School by the Department of Education
  • State-Certified World Language Immersion School by the Department of Education
  • School Award for Exemplary Education of Young Men of Color by the Coalition of Schools Educating Boys of Color
  • Charter School of the Year by the Center for Education Reform
  • OPEN Public Education Award for Exemplary Language Immersion Education

By joining us as a gala attendee, you will not only enjoy a beautiful night of music, entertainment, and fine dining, but will support ISL’s mission and will make an investment in the many families it serves. Thank you for supporting the transformation of public schools in our community. Your consideration of this request is greatly appreciated. Kindly respond by August 5, 2016 to be included in our gala marketing material.

Gratefully,
